Have you been living a life trying to cover your acne scars with heavy make-up, applying different exfoliating creams and solutions but don't seem to be helping you? Afraid of using Laser treatments because of its ablative properties and long down time duration? The battle against acne scars has been going on for generations now and boy, was that not ending!

Also, a lot of Korean and China brand machines have been proliferating the aesthetic market, unfortunately claiming to give the desired effect at a lower cost when in fact it is really not the case. With each different laser, there are potentially different results, which can lead to inaccuracy and discouragement to the masses if the laser being used is not clarified. This is why it is important to do research on the brand of the machine, background of the clinic and experience of the operator or the dermatologist.

With Skin House Beauty and Laser Clinic's latest offering, treatment for deep acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles need not be expensive. Our Pixel Fractional CO2 Laser 10600 nm wavelength is different from Pixel Erbium with 2940 nm wavelength that other clinics offer. What we are using is a medical grade, stand alone unit that is more effective in giving results. Do check the photo of the machine for easy reference.

Allow me to show first how Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment works. From the word "Fractional" and "Pixel", the laser light passes through the patented Pixel® micro optics lens array to penetrate the skin with tiny thermal channels.

The Fractional CO2 Effect

  • It creates an ablative and thermal effect in only these channels - a micro-injury - without disturbing the surrounding tissue.
  • These micro-injury sites, about 15-20 percent of the treatment area, start the process of healing.
  • The intact, undamaged skin around the treatment site is what promotes quicker healing for a faster recovery.

Fractional CO2 Skin Resurfacing treatments have been widely used nowadays since unlike topical creams, laser skin resurfacing works deep in the underlying tissues reduce the appearance of acne scarring. This popular and long accepted technology has normally been ablative; meaning that some portion of the top layer of skin is deliberately damaged. Some people, however, wish to avoid all ablative procedures but with Pixel Perfect skin resurfacing, you'll achieve dramatic results similar to traditional CO2 while minimizing long-term discomfort and the risk of complications.

Pixel Fractional CO2 Laser significantly improves the tone and texture of skin in one treatment with minimal downtime and faster healing - patients usually return to normal activities within three to seven days. Pixel Fractional CO2 Laser has a lower risk of complications compared to traditional CO2 laser resurfacing with a short learning curve. What’s more, the Impact ITED hand piece will ensure 100% absorption of your trusted topical cream for complete and effective absorption. Expect lightening and improvement of skin color and texture with the use of Impact ITED only from the Alma Lasers. This is something that other Fractional CO2 Laser does not offer. Did I mention that this is an FDA Approved machine?

So be more confident, smoothen your acne scars with Pixel Fractional CO2 LaserTreatment. Make your face chemical free! Don't live with your acne scars when the solution is at your fingertips.

Grids will be seen on day 2 onwards, and the small fractionated scabs will fall eventually. Just avoid sun exposure or make sure to apply sun protection on a daily basis, wash with mild facial wash and apply moisturizer for best results.

What is the difference between Erbium: Yag vs. CO2 Laser?

Erbium Yag is highly absorbed in water which results in lower thermal injury than with CO2. What it means though, is that there is lower chance of stimulation for new collagen, when what a patient really wants is to maximize stimulation of collagen for better overall skin texture and appearance.
