Eyebrow Microblading
Eyebrow Microblading is a “tattoo-ing” technique that uses a manual disposable tool to implant pigments and recreate hair-like strokes to add volume and correct the shape of the eyebrows. It is sometimes called Eyebrow Embroidery, Feather Brows, Feather Strokes, Nano Strokes, 3D and 6D Eyebrows. All these are just marketing words to describe the procedure.
The Skin House technique to create that symmetrical and well-shaped eyebrows is achieved by using 3 different measuring tools to ensure symmetry and accuracy of shape. An exclusive application is used to check that the shape is correct in different points in the eyebrows. This is done by taking a well-placed photo of the patient’s face, eyes closed so that the mimetic muscles are relaxed, and won’t in anyway affect the symmetry of the eyebrows in relation to the face.
Besides symmetry, the eyebrow artist at Skin House aims to create that natural hyperrealistic eyebrows. Untrained eyes won’t be able to distinguish the natural hair from the strokes that were created. The direction of the natural hair will be put in consideration, and those with sparse hair or alopecia will have their eyebrows created from scratch.
Eyebrow Microblading or Embroidery is also ideal for patients will normal to dry skin. It is a time saver especially for those who barely wears makeup. Rest assured, you are in good hands. Joanne Yu, the eyebrows artist at Skin House is Certified at Beauty Recipe Singapore and under the Phibrows Academy London.
In addition to microblading, Skin House also offers powder brows and ombre shading. This technique uses a machine at penetrates the skin deeper with the pigment of your choice. Here is when the artist can give you a more “made up look” with gradient effect. This is ideal for patients with oily skin because machine work goes deeper than microblading that uses a manual tool.
Both techniques can last up to a year or more, depending on the patient’s lifestyle and skin. It is advised for patients to come back up for a touch up once a year.
