May you be an empowered woman of style and substance or a man of grit and glamour, these two anti-aging and lifting treatments may be the solution you have always been looking for. So for the purpose of making a comparison for the best treatment that would give you a smaller, younger looking face, read on.
Ultherapy
Ultherapy sets the bar for nonsurgical skin lifting, tightening and contouring. It works in the foundational layer of the skin, reaching as deep as 4.5 millimeters beneath the skin, to restore fullness and improve elasticity. Results can be seen in 2 to 3 months’ post treatment. And would improve the appearance of the nasolabial folds, sagging cheeks and jaw line.
With Ultherapy, the providers can see the layers of tissue that are being treated through micro-focused ultrasound visualization ensuring treatment is delivered effectively and accurately to the correct tissue plane.
How often should ulthera be done?
Ultherapy has minimal to no downtime. Your skin will improve without any cuts and incisions in as early as 2 to 3 months, with results that typically lasts up to a year or longer depending on your skin laxity.
Patients see visible lifting and tightening of the lower part of the face that gives away your age. Everything just goes downward and you want to defy gravity and be the best version of yourself, regardless what stage in your life you’re in.
Before getting treatments though, it’s important to quickly differentiate ordinary HIFU from Ultherapy that uses MFUV or Micro Focused Ultrasound Visualization. The latter is the only USFDA approved treatment for lifting the brows, jowls, neck and décolletage. It is different in that it can actually see that depth of the skin being treated, vs HIFU that has static screen for display. To ensure that you are going to an licensed Ulthera Provider like us, look into the authenticity plaque or seal, and make sure that the clinic is listed as a provider to ensure safety and effectiveness of the Ulthera treatment you have saved for.

Now the hard part – Which one should you choose?
Both Ultherapy and Jawtox are tried and tested procedures that are proven to improve your appearance. It’s just a question of what you want to achieve.
Ultherapy is your best bet if you want to lift, tighten and contour your skin, while Jawtox as the name implies would suit you best if your goal is to improve the size of your masseter.
